High Performance

Performance has always been one of the core principles at Boulder Lab, and is a fundamental driver for excellence in what we do across our coaching programs. With a deep rooted history in Australia’s young climbing scene, it’s our mission to improve at every avenue to promote and push sport climbing.

Leading Australia’s climbing scene

Our High Performance programs are dedicated to building the next generation of Australia's best climbers.

We have a competitive climbing team focused on growth and mastery of the climbing acumen to perform at the highest levels, with the goal of performing at sanctioned events. Athletes are required to be highly motivated, disciplined and hard-working. They continue to train fundamental climbing skills, as well as focus on strength and conditioning, competition strategy, mobility, mindset and injury prevention.

Current and past program athletes include State Team members through to World Cup athletes.

From pathways to high performance

From our grassroots programs, there are a series of pathways for young climbers to take and progress through. Climbers may start in programs such as the Mini/Super Monkeys or Youth Squad groups, and progress through our foundational pathway or switch over to our competition pathway.
