Boulder Lab Dog policy
Dogs are allowed at Boulder Lab but to keep our furry friends safe, and ensure everyone is comfortable there are some rules!
Please observe the following policy for your visit to Boulder Lab
1. Customers who bring their dog into a Boulder Lab facility assume full responsibility for their dog, and must keep it in their effective control at all time
1.1 Dogs in training must wear 'In Training' vests when in the facility, and must remain with their owners at all times
2. Dogs are not allowed on the matting at any time. This is a zero-tolerance policy
3. Dogs must be secured via a leash when in the facility
3.1 In the event the leash cannot be secured to an object, the responsible owner must ensure all reasonable steps are taken to secure their dog by other means
4. No dogs are allowed in the weights gym area of any Boulder Lab facility, whether or a leash or not. This is for their own safety.
5. If the dog is threatening, menacing, barking or upsetting other customers, Boulder Lab staff reserve the right to ask the responsible owner to leave with their dog.
5.1 If another customer expresses discomfort to staff regarding another customer's dog, or that dog's behaviour, staff reserve the right to ask the responsible owner to leave with their dog
6. Owner's must clean up after their dog
7. Boulder Lab management reserves the right to revoke this policy at their discretion at any time.
Events:
1. During Boulder Lab events, a strict no dogs policy overrules the above dog policy.
1.1 Customers who attend an event with their dog must be asked to leave, for the safety of both patrons and the dog itself. Customers are permitted to return later without their dog
1.2 Service/assistance dogs who are on-duty or in training are the only exception to this rule, but must remain out of the climbing area at all times
1.3 Staff reserve the right to ask the responsible person for documentation to confirm they are an assistance animal.
