Women’s Nights

Join us across all 3 Boulder Lab facilities for a night of tips, technique, fun and new friends

Women’s nights at Boulder Lab provide a space for women in bouldering to meet, connect and support one another

Price: For members women’s night is free, and for casual entry it is simply the price of entry into the gym, inclusive of free rental shoes, free chalk hire, and free technique advice!

Women’s night sessions, under the leadership of our women’s night coaches, run for 1.5 hours. The first 45 minutes focuses on a technique or element of climbing, followed by 45 minutes of projecting, making up boulders, climbing together, whatever the group wants to do!

January - Just commit

February - Flat-wall footwork

March - Mantling and more… (pushing, pressing, standing, rotating)

April - Inversions (roof climbing, feet first, horizontal positions)

May - Board/spray wall climbing (how to train on the wall)

June - Jumping (dynos, co-ordination)

July - back to basics

August - Approaching climbs (reading beta, efficient climbing)

September - Slab climbing

October - Overhang and steep-walls

November - Nail your footwork

December - Dynamic movements
